Tanzanite Cultural Tourism in Mererani Mining

You will be taken early morning after your breakfast from Arusha to the mining area, to experience how these minerals are being mined through descending into tunnels which will take you to the lower altitude of 950m to 400m.

For those who are planning to climb Kilimanjaro will have good access to acclimatize from low altitude to the highest peak of Kilimanjaro 5895m.

Apart from these you will learn various rocks before and after production, types of minerals, rough tanzanite before cutting, sorting and polished. Finally you will be taken to the local minerals market.
